Behaviour Learning Mentor – Primary School – Ellesmere Port
Salary: £105 + per day, paid weekly
Contract: Full-time, long-term role
Hirecracker Education are working with a supportive and nurturing primary school in Ellesmere Port. We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Learning Mentor to provide targeted support to pupils, helping them develop positive behaviour, social skills, and resilience in the classroom and beyond.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting children’s learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing, making a tangible difference to their school experience and helping them to build confidence, resilience, and positive relationships that will benefit them throughout their educational journey and beyond.

What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils to manage behaviour and stay engaged in learning
* Working closely with class teachers to implement strategies for individual pupils
* Promoting inclusion and supporting pupils with additional needs or challenges
* Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and positive relationships within school
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people in school, youth work, care, mental health, or community settings
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt your approach to suit different needs
* Patience, empathy and resilience when supporting children with challenging behaviour
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
