Sales Executive

Location: Slough

Salary: £25,000 Base Salary & OTE £50,000+


We’re looking for a driven and customer‑focused Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity whether you have experience in sales (automotive or otherwise) or someone looking to start their career in sales with the right energy, motivation, and passion for the future of electrified vehicles.


With new products launching and a rapidly evolving customer landscape, this role offers the chance to represent an exciting electrified vehicle range while helping customers navigate new technologies with confidence.


This role sits within Jameel Motors UK Auto Retail and is at the centre of an exciting new partnership between Jameel Motors and GAC. You’ll be working specifically on the AION brand, supporting its entry into the UK market as GAC’s dedicated electric vehicle line. You’ll play a key role in helping customers discover an exciting new automotive entrant and its electrified product range.


About the Role

* As Sales Executive, you’ll proactively identify and convert new sales opportunities across retail and small fleet channels.
* You’ll deliver a consultative, customer‑first sales experience, helping customers understand the benefits and ownership of electrified and hybrid vehicles.
* You’ll manage the full sales cycle, including enquiries, test drives, demonstrations, finance discussions, and handovers.
* You’ll support the growth of a new and expanding team, working with both new and used product lines.
* Previous sales or automotive experience is welcome, but not essential — energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are key.
* You’ll adapt messaging, product explanations, and education to support customers who may be exploring EV technology for the first time.
* You’ll build strong customer relationships through exceptional communication and consistent CRM follow‑up.


Key Responsibilities

* Proactively engage new customers and convert leads across retail and small fleet channels.
* Deliver clear, tailored product explanations, helping customers understand EV benefits such as charging, range, running costs, and incentives.
* Manage the entire sales process end‑to‑end with accuracy and professionalism.
* Meet and exceed monthly sales, margin, and customer satisfaction targets.
* Maintain strong, ongoing customer relationships through structured follow-ups and CRM activity.
* Represent both established and emerging brands with confidence, supporting customer trust in newer market entrants.
* Stay up to date on product developments, competitor positioning, and new NEV technologies.
* Provide practical guidance on home charging, public networks, TCO, and broader electrified ownership considerations.
* Ensure all sales admin, finance paperwork, and compliance processes are completed accurately and on time.
* Collaborate with aftersales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
* Maintain brand standards across showroom presentation and digital engagement.


Skills & Experience

Essential

* Experience in automotive sales or any customer‑facing, commercial role or the desire to start a career in sales with the right mindset.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
* Proactive, energetic approach with a genuine passion for the automotive sector.
* Confidence to learn new products and explain them clearly to customers.
