Learning Mentor - English ROLE DESCRIPTION Carlisle College, part of NCG, a leading national provider of education and training, is seeking to recruit Student Learning Mentors. You will play a central role in delivering group tutorials for study programme students, ensuring learners receive weekly support and engaging activities that encourage motivation, participation, and personal development. In this highly rewarding role, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to support vulnerable and at-risk students while delivering group tutorials in line with the tutorial scheme of work. You will help learners develop self-responsibility, confidence, and ownership of their learning journey. To support you in achieving this, you will join a hardworking, passionate, and supportive team committed to helping every learner reach their full potential. Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will possess strong literacy and numeracy skills (Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent) alongside competent IT skills. Experience of working with learners aged 16-18 is essential, together with sound knowledge and experience of safeguarding children and young people.
