A Demi Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while assisting with food cost controls.
What will I be doing?
As a Demi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will also assist with food cost controls. Specifically, your tasks will include:
* Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within company guidelines
* Keeping all working areas clean and tidy, ensuring no cross-contamination
* Preparing all mis-en-place for relevant menus
* Assisting in resolving guest queries promptly and efficiently
* Ensuring food quality and proper storage
* Contributing to cost control, improving gross profit margins, and achieving departmental and financial targets
* Assisting other departments and maintaining good working relationships
* Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
* Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, health, safety, and food safety legislation
* Being aware of departmental targets and striving to achieve them as part of the team
* Maintaining environmental awareness
