The role
As a Media Developer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will help bring ideas to life through the design and delivery of engaging multimedia and eLearning content. This is a role where your creativity and technical skills will directly support training delivery across key Babcock contracts. Your work will make a real difference by improving the quality, consistency and impact of digital learning materials. You will grow your expertise while shaping modern multimedia solutions that support both business objectives and customer needs.
Day to day you will be required to:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to interpret briefs and produce high quality media outputs.
2. Design and develop multimedia learning materials including graphics, photography, video and eLearning content.
3. Create digital assets in line with brand guidelines, accessibility requirements and JSP standards.
4. Manage multiple creative projects at once, ensuring accuracy, innovation and timely delivery.
5. Maintain course media, update content and support instructors to keep materials current and effective.
This role is remote working, with travel to MOD Lyneham as and when requested by the business. Set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37 hours per week.
Essential experience of the Media Developer:
6. Proven relevant experience in multimedia or digital learning content creation.
7. A portfolio demonstrating creativity and innovation.
8. Experience using rapid eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
9. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Publisher and competent in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications for the Media Developer:
11. A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable experience within a digital learning environment.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
