As a Careers & Enterprise Developer, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the career confidence and prospects of our students and recent graduates in the College of Business & Law, with a particular focus on supporting the unique employability needs of our international student community. You’ll collaborate across academic and professional services teams to design and deliver inclusive, student-centred career learning activities that align with the curriculum and support our graduate outcomes.
Your work will include
 * Co-creating and delivering engaging careers and enterprise education both within the curriculum and in extracurricular settings.
 * Delivering one-to-one careers information, advice and guidance through bookable and drop-in appointments.
 * Delivering careers education in group settings, through workshops, lectures, events and other activities.
 * Empowering students to identify their career goals, build their employability skills, and take confident steps toward their aspirations including freelance and self-employment.
 * Embedding entrepreneurial thinking and career management skills into extracurricular learning experiences.
 * Designing and delivering tailored support for international students, on your own and in collaboration with colleagues.
 * Working with other colleagues to promote careers & enterprise activity to students.
 * Using your pedagogic knowledge and insight into employability trends to shape innovative and responsive support for all learners.
You’ll be joining a forward-thinking service that integrates Careers Library, and Digital Learning services in one team — all working together to improve the student experience and graduate success.
About You
We are looking for an individual with a passion for supporting students and a sound understanding of employability and enterprise development in higher education. You will bring:
 * Experience in delivering careers guidance and coaching, ideally within a higher education setting.
 * An interest in the unique employability challenges facing international students.
 * Experience in designing and delivering inclusive, engaging learning interventions.
 * A student-first mindset and a collaborative approach to working with others.
 * The ability to reflect on practice, keep up with sector trends, and use data and feedback to inform your work.
 * Confidence delivering in varied formats – including workshops, drop-ins, and digital platforms.
This role is part of the Careers & Enterprise team for the College of Business & Law, which offers a variety of degree programmes and has a large international and post-graduate student population. Experience of, or an interest in, these areas would be of benefit.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week.
This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
