About the Role

This role will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality solutions that enhance collaboration and drive efficiencies across our organisation. This role will focus on developing apps and automation workflows using Microsoft Power Platform to streamline processes and improve productivity. You will be responsible for gathering stakeholder input, creating prototypes, and leveraging tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to build robust solutions that seamlessly integrate into existing systems and leverage Large Language Models (LLMs). The role requires expertise in Power Platform components, Azure services, and data governance, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Role Responsibilities:

2. Design, develop, and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Virtual Agents) and integrations (custom connectors, APIs, SharePoint).
3. Develop and maintain data models in Dataverse, ensure scalability, maintainability, and compliance with organisational standards and GDPR.
4. Conduct thorough testing, UAT, and ongoing monitoring to ensure functionality, performance, and continuous improvement of solutions.
5. Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and process flows; establish centralised repositories and promote best practices.
6. Provide user support, deliver training sessions, and upskill team members in Power Platform development.
7. Work with the Management Information team to enhance reporting capabilities and foster a culture of learning through workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.

About You

We are looking for proven experience in developing and customising Microsoft Power Apps (Canvass & Model-driven), Power Automate, and related Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint and Teams.

You will be skilled in full project lifecycle management, from requirements gathering to solution deployment, with solid understanding of ALM practices. Hands-on experience with Azure services, Function Apps, APIs, and data integration (Dataverse, SharePoint).

Strong grasp of database concepts, process automation, and data governance including security and GDPR compliance. Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience designing and developing AI chatbots or agents using Microsoft Bot Framework or Azure Cognitive Services.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, and we welcome applications from candidates who wish to work flexibly, for example, part-time, term time or job share.

GIAA has an expectation for all colleagues to attend their local workplace regularly and to attend client sites for key meetings and when undertaking fieldwork.
