We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver the refurbishment and full internal fit out of a major £8 million department store project in Bath. The scheme includes a full modernisation of the building along with facilitating fire safety enhancements, structural upgrades, and high-quality interior finishes.

Role Overview
As Site Manager, you will take daily responsibility for managing site activities, subcontractors, H&S compliance, quality standards, and programme delivery. This is a live city-centre project with a mix of structural refurbishment, internal reconfiguration, and high-end finishes, requiring someone confident in managing complex building environments.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations and coordination of subcontractors.

Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and to high-quality standards.

Oversee refurbishment, structural alterations, internal fit-out, and compliance works.

Manage fire-safety related enhancements across the building.
*
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce H&S procedures.
*
Maintain daily site records, progress reporting, and QA documentation.
*
Liaise closely with the project manager, client, consultants, and local stakeholders.

Contribute to effective sequencing, logistics planning, and problem-solving.
