Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in Belfast&Stormont is looking for an Administrative Officer to join their team.
Duration: March 2026 with possible extension
Rate of pay: £13.75
Location: Belfast/Stormont
Hours: 37 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Main Duties:
1. Support the PSSN Contract Management team in delivering the NI PSSN Contract.
2. Support PSSN Contract Team in the successful running of the NI PSSN for existing and future Users and services.
3. General Admin Duties as required to include:
4. Processing of a busy mailbox – sending and receiving emails.
5. Logging information on an excel spreadsheet and updating regularly.
6. Saving emails/documents to an online filing system.
7. Responding to customer queries and following up on outstanding actions
8. Attendance at meetings could also be required.
Essential Criteria:
5 GCSEs A-C (Must include Maths and English)
Previous experience in a process driven role is required.
Previous administrative experience is essential.
The Candidate must be able to work to deadlines and under a degree of pressure – this is a very busy and reactive role.
No formal qualifications are essential, however, the role involves direct engagement with senior staff across the Public Sector, therefore the following will be required:
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good Mathematics skills
• Ability to deal with queries from customers and suppliers at all levels of seniority
Confidence to attend and participate in meetings (face to face or remotely via video).
