Job Title: Labourer
Division: IODS Pipe Clad
Hours of Work: Full-time: 37.5 hours on shifts (some flexibility required)
Salary & Benefits: £DOE
Responsibilities
* Internal and external movement of goods and materials to meet production requirements
* Cleaning and preparing components for processing as required
* Grinding, Sawing, and Inspection of components in preparation for cladding or other processes
* Preparing parts for internal or external shipment as required
* Internal and external housekeeping duties
* General duties such as emptying bins, cleaning and painting areas as directed by the Supervisor
* Ensure adherence and compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental standards
* To provide support to other members of the team when required
* May be required to cover shift patterns as required
* Overhead Crane, Abrasive Wheel, material handling equipment duties – training will be given
* Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools
* Maintain equipment and report equipment that requires servicing or repair
* Able to work shifts and overtime when required

* Can work efficiently and effectively as both part of a team or independently
* Good communication and time management skills
* Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
* Ability to work under pressure, working accurately and with attention to detail
* Accepts responsibility and willing to take on new challenges
* Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated
* Good understanding and awareness of the engineering/manufacturing processes
* Good knowledge of housekeeping duties
* Knowledge and application of IT systems
Education and Experience
* Certified Forklift License
* Driving License
