Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bury St Edmunds for a Site Manager. The Site Manager will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintain safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing teams, coordinating with subcontractors and clients, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and reporting to upper management. The Site Manager will also ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications
* Experience in site management, project coordination, and overseeing construction teams
* Strong understanding of safety and quality standards, as well as regulatory compliance
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
* Proficiency in project management software and tools
* Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields
* Experience with residential, commercial, and office fit-outs is a plus
* Knowledge of sustainability practices and innovative construction techniques
