Salary: £100 - £120 per day

A high-performing and inclusive secondary school in Leeds are seeking an enthusiastic English Graduate Learning Mentor to join their staff ASAP for the full academic year.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates aiming to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into a teaching career through routes such as PGCE or School Direct.
English Graduate Learning Mentor - The Role:
In this position, you will:
* Provide subject-specific support across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention sessions to raise attainment
* Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons
* Support behaviour management to ensure a productive learning environment
* Work with students of all abilities, including those with SEN and EAL needs
* Take part in extra-curricular activities, clubs, and wider school initiatives
English Graduate Learning Mentor - Candidate Requirements:
* A minimum 2:1 degree in an English related subject
* Genuine enthusiasm for working with secondary-aged students and pursuing a teaching career.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, flexible, and resilient approach to supporting young people
* Previous experience mentoring, tutoring, or supporting young learners is advantageous.
