About The Role
The role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a well-organised and self-motivated HR Administrator to support our Property Platform and join our expanding HR team. This role will be based from our Birmingham office and offers hybrid working. Your workload will always be varied. You will provide administrative support throughout the whole employee lifecycle, including managing attendance, supporting onboarding by uploading new employees to the HR system, compiling new starter paperwork, monitoring pre-employment checks, and managing the leaver process.
Additionally, you will assist the HRBP, HR Advisor, and Assistant HR Advisor with meetings as required. Providing excellent customer service, you will respond promptly to HR queries from staff across the business, understanding and applying HR policies and acting as an ambassador of Gateley. This job description is not exhaustive; the role may require you to undertake other ad hoc tasks as needed.
The team
Our HR team works closely to support the group's business strategy. We pride ourselves on supporting and promoting our employees' personal and professional wellbeing to help them reach their full potential.
The person
As a strong team player, you will be involved in daily activities within our busy department while remaining focused on your own duties. This role requires concentration and quick turnaround of work. You must be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks, and maintain confidentiality, especially in a fast-paced professional environment. Previous administration experience is required; HR experience is desirable. Sound IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, are essential. CIPD Level 3 qualification is advantageous but not essential. You should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, punctuality, and flexibility.
