Job Description
I am currently seeking a Site Manager for a groundworks project in Essex and Kent with a UK Contractor.
This role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
1. Leading by example, encouraging the team to take responsibility for the safety of colleagues, themselves, and clients.
2. Overseeing the site programme, including monitoring and ensuring labour, plant, and materials requirements are sufficiently met, and taking accountability for delivery.
3. Ensuring work progresses according to the program and driving site delivery.
4. Managing the quality of the work.
5. Ensuring all operational records are up to date and properly maintained.
6. Engaging with stakeholders effectively.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Previous experience as a Works Manager, Site Manager, General Foreman, Foreperson, Supervisor, or similar roles.
2. Relevant certifications such as CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and at least 2 references.
3. Experience in Earthworks, Groundworks, or General Civils.
