Who are we looking for?
Please note, this role is not fully remote, you would need to be based or reliably commute to Lancaster.
We are on the lookout for a Developer who will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of our internal and external Database Management Systems. Ideally, you:
* Have 1-2 years of experience in C#.Net
* Proficient with MS SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
* Familiar with MS Access and database programming
* Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and within a team, following project timelines.
What will you be doing?
Reporting directly to the StarVale IT Manager, and as part of a well-established and close-knit supportive team, your responsibilities will include:
* Development, enhancement, and support of code for applications using C# and VBA
* Writing and optimization of SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting
* Providing support for StarVale Systems & Users.
* Collaborating with the development team to analyse requirements and design solutions
* Participating in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that ensure data accuracy and consistency
Salary:
£30,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
