Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be leading quality operations between our Wisbech and Coleshill sites, ensuring robust systems, procedures, and practices are adhered to, while actively identifying and implementing improvements. You will need to be comfortable managing teams, engaging with production and engineering, and being physically present where the action is. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse data effectively, as well as a solid understanding of quality assurance processes.
Requirements
* You must have solid experience in either the Medical or Automotive sector. If you have both – even better.
* Experience with ISO 13485 is highly desirable – but not essential. Familiarity with other relevant quality standards.
* Proven experience in managing quality teams is essential. You will be leading by example, motivating and developing your team while also getting directly involved in day-to-day activities.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop quality teams across both sites.
* Drive quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
* Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and customer requirements.
* Conduct audits, manage non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve product quality.
* Conduct regular inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Analyse inspection results and prepare detailed reports on findings, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions, as necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related data.
* Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and procedures.
* Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control measures and best practices.
