As our new Senior Data Architect, you will design, develop and manage scalable data architecture and digital platforms for Cadeler, ensure high-quality and reliable data, that enable actionable insights for business intelligence and analytics. Your main tasks include: Platforms & Data Architecture Design, manage, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines, architectures, and models. Develop high-quality data models to support analytics, experimentation, and AI initiatives. Support design and streamline data platform implementation, visualization, and user acceptance testing. Data Management Optimize Cadeler’s data platform scalability, performance, and resilience. Manag e data warehouses and maintain robust, reliable data repositories and reporting systems. Automate workflows, ensure data traceability, quality, and accessibility for business intelligence and ad-hoc reporting. Provide best-practice guidance on data tools and visualization (e.g., Power BI). Data Quality, Risk & Governance Implement and monitor data quality controls and assurance procedures. Manage data security, risk mitigation, and high-performance warehouse infrastructure. Ensure compliance with information security policies and regulatory standards. Strategic Development Help define and execute the data and analytics strategy and roadmap for the Performance function. Build scalable data infrastructure supporting rapid growth and complex regulatory requirements. Partner with IT and business teams to enable clean, trusted datasets for analytics and decision-making. We are looking for a skilled and results-oriented profile, who is hands-on, enjoys tackling complex data challenges, works well with diverse teams, and delivers reliable, actionable insights to drive Cadeler forward. We think you will be a good match if you: Educational background: Hold a university degree in data engineering, computing, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. Professional experience: Have 8 years’ experience within Data Engineering, Data Architecture or in leading data and AI solutions, with a strong track record designing data models for complex operational environments. IT skills: Have strong experience with modern cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake, are an advanced user of Power BI (Desktop and Web Service), have experience in SQL, Python, and familiar with cloud-based solutions such as Azure and Office 365. You are familiar with modern data engineering best practices, including automated deployment workflows, version-controlled development, and data quality validation. You can transform raw data into actionable business insights while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Come work with us!
