Our client, a leading contractor in the water sector, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Bournemouth on a long-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently
Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site workers
Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Conducting site inspections and quality control checks
Providing technical guidance and support related to reservoir and pipework projects
Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
Job Requirements:
Experience in the water sector, specifically with reservoirs or southern water projects
Strong understanding of pipework systems
Proficiency in managing blue-collar workers on-site
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Effective communication and leadership abilities
Ability to handle project documentation and reporting
Available to start in 3 weeks
