Are you an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager with a proven track record in delivering large:scale commercial fit:out projects? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment and possess exceptional leadership and organisational skills?
A leading construction firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Manager to oversee the complete fit:out of a significant commercial development in the heart of Manchester. This is an fantastic opportunity to lead a high:profile project from inception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all on:site activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
* Oversee and coordinate all trades and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
* Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
* Conduct regular site meetings, preparing and presenting progress reports to senior management and clients.
* Manage site logistics, material procurement, and resource allocation efficiently.
* Ensure all works comply with relevant building regulations and quality standards.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all on:site queries and stakeholder communications.
Requirements:
* SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid at Work certifications are essential.
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on large commercial fit:out projects.
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
* Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive approach to problem:solving and a keen eye for detail.
* Based in or willing to commute to Manchester.
