Job Title: Data Architect Location: London (Hybrid 2 days/week onsite) Contract Length: 6 months Rate: Inside IR35 - Flexible About the Role Were looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a high-impact transformation programme based in central London. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in designing large-scale, end-to-end data architectures across modern cloud platforms and data lake environments. You'll be at the forefront of data strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure solutions that meet evolving business and regulatory needs. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture frameworks Develop models for databases, data warehouses, and data lakes Create and manage conceptual, logical, and physical data models Define data entity relationships to support business and analytical requirements Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) Integrate and manage data from multiple sources across the enterprise Build and optimize data pipelines to support real-time and batch data processing Collaborate with Data Engineers, Scientists, Analysts, and IT teams Continuously evaluate and recommend modern data tools and platforms Document architectural standards, processes, and designs Your Profile Essential Skills & Experience 10 years of experience in data architecture and management Proven expertise in cloud data lakes and data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake) Strong understanding of big data platforms and enterprise data management Deep experience in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) Familiarity with modelling methodologies (3NF, Dimensional, Data Vault) Knowledge of metadata management, data governance, and quality standards Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable data solutions Desirable Skills Familiarity with agile delivery and collaboration tools Exposure to tools like ServiceNow is a plus Esther Urtecho Senior Delivery Consultant London | Bristol | Amsterdam ADZN1_UKTJ
