We are looking for an ambitious, dedicated and people-oriented Human Resources Manager to join the fantastic team at Delta by Marriott Durham Royal County.

What You'll do?

The Human Resources Manager will have a multifaceted position, responsible for all Human Resources, Training, Employee Relations and Payroll functions. This role involves working closely with both the on-property and above-property leadership teams to drive the most effective People Strategy including:

* Expertise in resolving employee relations matters
* Support management in coaching, training, and development of employees.
* Maintain accurate employee records and files, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
* Contribute to HR projects and initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with local labour laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
* Effectively communicate with employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
* Actively participate in property and Cluster meetings, initiatives, and associate relations activities.

Education and Experience

* High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.

OR

* 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 3 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
