Staffline Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced cook to join a team at a busy and well-established restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
📍 Location: Ballymena
đź’· Pay Rate: ÂŁ15 per hour
đź•’ Hours: 35-40 hours per week (as per rota)
đź“… Work Schedule: Shifts scheduled according to rota - including weekends
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and customer specifications
2. Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained at all times
3. Manage food stock, rotation, and waste efficiently
4. Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas
6. Work flexible hours as per rota, including weekends
Requirements:
7. Proven experience working as a cook or chef in a professional kitchen
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Good communication and time management skills
10. Knowledge of food safety standards
11. Reliability and a strong work ethic
