Location: Belfast / Northern Ireland Offices Hours: 15 hours per week Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 pro rata, dependent on experience Benefits Discretionary annual bonus Private healthcare Life assurance, 4 x salary Annual leave purchase scheme 36 days annual leave including public holidays, pro rata Flexible part-time working pattern Opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience Exposure to HR systems, payroll, recruitment, onboarding and employee relations About the Role Staffline Recruitment Ireland is seeking a part-time HR Administrator to support our internal HR team across a wide range of administrative HR activities. This role is ideal for an organised, detail-focused and professional administrator who enjoys variety, can handle confidential information with care, and is interested in developing their HR experience. You will support key areas including employee queries, payroll administration, recruitment coordination, onboarding, HR systems, reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities Employee Queries and HR Administration Manage HR inboxes and respond to employee queries in a timely and professional manner Support with pay-related queries where appropriate Assist with the administration of company reward schemes Maintain confidentiality at all times Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal HR policies Provide general administrative support to the wider HR team Payroll and Records Support the accurate and timely processing of NI and ROI monthly payroll Communicate employee changes to payroll, including pay adjustments and absences Maintain accurate internal staff records Ensure employee information is handled securely and accurately Recruitment and Onboarding Support the onboarding and offboarding of internal staff Assist with internal recruitment administration, including job postings, interview coordination and offer letters Support recruiting managers in following recruitment and selection policies and procedures Help ensure new starters have the correct documentation, systems access and induction requirements in place Learning and Development Track internal staff performance reviews and training compliance Provide administrative support for learning and development activity Help update and coordinate the company's quarterly training calendar Employee Relations Support the HR Advisor with employee relations administration, including note taking where required Represent the HR function in a professional, credible and trustworthy manner Reporting and HR Systems Prepare weekly and monthly reports for senior stakeholders Provide HR data reports as required Maintain and update employee records and organisational structures within HR systems Monitor HR system data accuracy and support system improvements Provide user support and escalate system queries to IT or external providers where needed Support HR projects, system updates and process improvements About You Essential Criteria Previous experience in an administrative role or similar position Experience handling confidential information Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Professional, reliable and proactive approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Full clean driving licence or access to transport for regular travel when required Desirable Criteria CIPD Level 3 in HR Practice, or working towards this Degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field Experience using HR systems or business support systems Experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding or employee relations administration Experience with reporting, analytics or data management software Previous exposure to GDPR compliance and HR reporting Experience supporting system implementations or data migration projects Why Apply?
