Profile

Are you passionate about making a real difference to the environment?

At Biogenie, we’re looking for a hands-on, practical Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of remediation projects across the UK. This role is ideal for someone with site leadership experience, whether you’re already a Site Manager or a Senior Foreperson looking to take on broader responsibility and ownership of projects.

You’ll be supported by experienced Project Managers and a wider technical team, with the opportunity to grow and develop as you take ownership of projects on site.

What you will be doing:

As a Site Manager, you’ll:

* Take the lead on-site, managing teams, subcontractors, and daily activities.

* Deliver remediation works safely, efficiently, and in line with the project plan.

* Ensure site compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.

* Coordinate plant, materials, permits, and inspections.

* Keep site documentation up to date and accurate.

* Communicate clearly with the Project Manager about progress, issues, and resource needs.

* Motivate and guide your team to maintain high standards of work.

What you should bring to the role:

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

* Proven hands-on experience working on contaminated land or remediation projects, with a strong understanding of site operations and environmental best practice.

* Experience of leading people on site.

* A strong understanding of health and safety (RAMS, method statements, CDM).

* Good communication skills, with a confident, calm approach and strong problem-solving ability.

* SMSTS and CSCS card (or willing to work towards these).

* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
