Sales Executive – Job Specification We are a successful, well-established IT Support Services company based in Redhill, Surrey, and we’re growing. To support our ambitious plans, we’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our team and help drive the next stage of our expansion. We’re seeking someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about technology and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll bring a consultative approach to sales, taking the time to understand client needs and build strong, long-term relationships. Working closely with our Account Manager, you’ll quickly become an integral part of the Sales Team. You’ll support existing accounts while developing the skills and confidence to manage your own portfolio of clients. The role is predominantly office-based. You’ll also be joining a company with strong values and a highly capable technical team who will support you every step of the way. Responsibilities: The role involves supporting the sales of our technical products and services, managing contract renewals and building strong, long-term client relationships. High performers will also have a clear progression path into Account Management, with opportunities to take on their own client portfolio as they develop their own skillset. Sales & Renewals Respond to Client enquiries, updating and effectively managing these through our CRM. Manage renewal cycles for existing contracts, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Prepare and deliver technical quotations using CRM tools (Halo). Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during renewal discussions. Client Engagement Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and add value. Support onboarding of new accounts and assist in account management. Assist with service reviews and maintain high client retention rates. Reporting Maintain accurate CRM records and provide weekly pipeline updates. Track and report on renewal performance and sales targets. This list represents your main duties, and it may be added to or amended as directed by your line manager and the company Directors. Your Skills and Attributes: Proven experience in technical sales or IT services. A collaborative team player and relationship builder. Customer focused – putting clients at the heart of everything you do. A strong written and verbal communicator, able to influence at all levels. Highly motivated and proactive. Process driven – able to both follow and improve processes. Uncompromising on the quality of your work and the service you deliver. Comfortable working under pressure and problem solving. Highly organised with good attention to detail. Able to hit the ground running, quickly grasping new concepts and product knowledge. Competent using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams. You’ll require a full UK driving license in order to attend client meetings. Experience Essential Working in a customer facing role. Familiarity with CRM tools. Working with an IT Managed Service Provider or technology-based company. Beneficial Good understanding of SaaS and IaaS models. The Package Circa £30,000, dependent on experience.
