ROLE: HR Manager (Fixed-Term Contract – 6 Months)

LOCATION: Mitie TSOC, Atlas Business Park

We're looking for an HR & Culture Manager who will act as a strategic partner, driving organisational culture change, managing key HR initiatives, and supporting the development of a high‑performing and engaged workforce.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Lead onsite HR initiatives that align with business objectives and strengthen organisational culture.
2. Deliver projects focused on improving employee engagement, team effectiveness, and workplace culture.
3. Provide expert HR guidance to managers and employees while ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
4. Support operational leaders with people‑related matters, ensuring consistent application of HR policies.
5. Monitor and enhance site‑level HR processes to drive operational excellence.
6. Maintain a visible onsite presence (minimum 4 days per week) to support staff, stakeholders, and leadership.
7. Collaborate with central HR teams to implement corporate initiatives at site level.
8. Drive continuous improvement across HR operations, systems, and cultural practices.

11. Provide HR & legal guidance to management and employees

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role. 

12. Proven experience in HR management or HR advisory roles, ideally within a fast‑paced or operational environment.
13. Strong understanding of employee engagement, organisational culture, and change management.
14. Ability to influence at all levels and build strong working relationships.
15. Excellent knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and HR best practices.
16. Strong project‑management skills with the ability to deliver work to tight deadlines.
17. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
18. Ability to operate independently, using sound judgement and professional expertise.

Desired Attributes:

19. 5+ years in HR management
20. Developed knowledge of occupational health management, absence & attendance management, workplace adjustments / accessibility, health & safety compliance and employee wellbeing programmes
21. Passion for HR policies and development
