The Role
As a Salesforce (SFMC) Tech Lead / Senior Developer, you will be working closely with clients to understand their business and existing technologies, using your knowledge of developing, executing, and optimizing e-mail, SMS, and social media campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
Perform the design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions while documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions.
Oversee the technical direction and implementation of SFMC projects/User stories/Epics.
Develop custom solutions, integrations, and data migrations within the SFMC platform.
Ensure the quality and performance of SFMC solutions.
Work with different technical teams to integrate SFMC with other systems.
Share knowledge with the team and help mentor newer developers.
Impact assessment of high priority /critical enhancement request, and track solution delivery end to end.
Learn new technology PWA/MRT and Salesforce B2C via self-learning.
Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, IT) to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
Proficiency in coding (e.g., AMP Script, SQL) and understanding of integrations with other marketing and CRM systems.
Experience in developing Salesforce Marketing Cloud customizations (Ampscript) integrations, developing and executing data migrations, and Marketing Technologies.
Experience in Data Architecture.
Salesforce certification in Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, and Marketing Cloud Consultant.
Extensive experience with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, e.g., Journey Builder, Email Studio, and other modules.
Strong programming skills, particularly in languages used within the SFMC ecosystem (e.g., Apex, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Ability to lead and mentor technical teams, providing guidance and support.
Strong understanding of Infobip and other similar tools used for SMS/E-mail.
Experience in conducting data profiling of existing marketing datasets to define data governance and standardization rules.
Experience in leading Marketing Cloud data modeling and architecture including data extension modeling and cross-product data architecture & mapping.
Experience in architecture, design, and development of advanced customizations utilizing Salesforce Marketing cloud.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM best practices. Azure Dev Ops Git, CI/CD, SonarQube, Kubernetes, GitHub, and terraform.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
Previous work experience in Marketing Technologies.
Experience with integrating SFMC with other systems and platforms.
Strong understanding of Salesforce Admin.
