Role Overview
As Head of Estates, you will lead the effective management, development, and optimisation of Oxfam’s property portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth operation of all estate related activities, provide expert technical guidance to estates surveyors and support teams, work closely with the Head of Property and Estates to shape long‑term estate strategies, offering informed recommendations that enhance operational performance and support Oxfam’s mission. This role requires strong leadership, professional expertise, and a proactive approach to delivering a high‑quality, efficient estate management service across the organisation.

Ideal candidate will also have:
* Managerial and leadership skills – experience managing performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their potential, including increasing diversity and inclusion in teams and / or workplaces
* Excellent communication skills with staff at all levels in the organisation
* Project management experience and knowledge in complex organisational contexts
* Budget responsibility – excellent financial skills with the ability to create and manage a substantial budget
