About the Role
We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Cook to join our team. You'll prepare tasty, nutritious, and comforting meals that our residents look forward to each day.
This is a part-time role, and you'll be helping to make sure every meal is prepared with care, meets dietary needs, and adds a little joy to our residents' day.
What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing and cooking meals for up to 34 residents
* Catering for a range of dietary needs, including soft foods and allergy-friendly options
* Keeping the kitchen clean and following food hygiene standards
* Working closely with care staff to make mealtimes relaxed and enjoyable

About You
* Experience as a cook or chef in a care home or similar setting (preferred)
* A good understanding of food hygiene and dietary needs for older adults
* Passionate about home-style cooking and presentation
* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
* Cookery Level 2 qualification (required)
* Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or willingness to complete it)
