My client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join their team in Slough on a one-month contract basis. The role involves performing unskilled general labour tasks, primarily focused on manually moving freight, stock, and other materials within storage, production, and delivery areas. Responsibilities include attaching identifying tags to containers, reading work orders or receiving instructions to determine assignments, recording units handled, sorting cargo, assembling product containers, and loading or unloading ship cargo using manual or mechanical equipment. The Labourer will also be responsible for packing containers, repacking damaged goods, and managing tools and supplies by transporting them to and from storage or vehicles as needed. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately to support efficient material handling operations.
