Overview
We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software systems that support key business operations.

You'll be working on a range of projects involving both new technologies and legacy systems, working across the full development lifecycle. The role sits within a small, team of developers and operates in a hybrid working environment.

Key Objectives

As a .NET Developer, you will aid in improving and coordinating core systems, encompassing:

* Client reporting tools
* Claim intake systems
* Back-office claims systems
* APIs supporting these platforms

How You'll Make An Impact

* Review existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement
* Present enhancement ideas to management and team members
* Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
* Produce detailed specifications and write clean, maintainable code
* Conduct initial testing prior to handover to the QA team
* Maintain and optimise systems for performance and reliability

About You
Technical Skills & Experience

Essential:

* Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in C# and ASP.NET, VB (MVC essential; Web Forms desirable)
* Solid understanding of SQL Server
* Experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
* You must be eligible to work in the UK

Desirable:

* Experience with React
* Familiarity with source control systems (preferably Azure DevOps)
* Knowledge of web application security protocols
* Experience with Entity Framework
