Overview
The IMPACT is a East Midlands Provider Collaborative for adult secure care, working with 9 NHS and independent sector providers led by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS FT as the Lead Provider. IMPACT’s commissioning hub supports co-ordination of case management activities and quality oversight of the care and treatment of patients within adult secure care settings across the East Midlands.
The post holder will play a key role in supporting the IMPACT commissioning hub with the co-ordination of case management activities and quality oversight of the care and treatment of patients within adult secure care settings across the East Midlands. As the IMPACT Quality Manager, the post holder will be an integral part of the IMPACT commissioning hub supporting clinical, operational and quality oversight for the patient population within adult secure care. This will be a varied and supportive role, working alongside IMPACT and partner organisations to monitor service improvement and support patients along their care pathway across the provider collaborative.
Responsibilities
* Support the day-to-day management of the quality monitoring processes for adult secure services within agreed standard operating procedures.
* Provide oversight of patient pathways, identify potential/actual gaps in provision and provide early identification of barriers to progress that may hinder patient flow.
* Provide reports using qualitative and quantitative information drawn from local, regional and national data sources; identify emerging trends and potential quality concerns.
* Identify emerging trends and themes and potential quality concerns.
* Listen to and talk with patients, their families and carers to ensure their voices are heard and acted upon.
* Attend relevant meetings such as internal hub meetings, weekly urgent escalation calls, provider contract meetings, quality and incident review meetings and working parties.
* Support quality oversight and surveillance of provider organisations; review action plans with case managers to ensure lessons are learned and quality improvements are embedded.
* Liaise with relevant stakeholders such as ICSs, NHSE and other provider collaboratives.
* Ensure policies and procedures support and reflect the activities and responsibilities outlined above.
Qualifications and requirements
* Full UK driving license and vehicle for business use; reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
* DBS disclosure: applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check; costs are deducted from salary over the first two months. DBS Update Service enrolment is encouraged; annual fee applies.
* This post may not meet the pay level required for a Skilled Worker visa; sponsorship may be impacted for some applicants. Applicants requiring a Skilled Worker Visa should assess sponsorship likelihood against the criteria provided by the Home Office.
