A well established organisation with a growing high street and commercial estate across the UK and Ireland is continuing to expand its Facilities team. Due to ongoing growth and new site openings, they are now seeking an experienced Tradesperson to support multiple sites across London and the South of England.
Your new role
As a Tradesperson, you will be responsible for delivering high quality reactive and planned maintenance across a portfolio of sites. This is a mobile, home based role covering Greater London, with regular travel to sites and occasional travel outside the region.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out day to day maintenance and minor repair works across multiple trades
2. Completing basic plumbing, joinery, painting, decorating, and general building repairs
3. Repairing or replacing fixtures and fittings (e.g. doors, locks, hinges, shelving, signage)
4. Undertaking minor electrical tasks where permitted (e.g. changing light fittings)
5. Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests
6. Assisting with planned preventative maintenance tasks
7. Identifying and reporting defects requiring specialist contractor attendance
