Reed is delighted to working exclusively our client based in Burton-on-Trent, working within community services who also operate in Stoke-on-Trent and Wigan. We’re looking for a confident and proactive HR Officer to join on a temp-to-perm basis and play a key role in supporting managers and colleagues across the organisation.What You’ll Be DoingAs our HR Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our people operations. Your responsibilities will include:• Providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and colleagues• Managing the onboarding process for new starters• Inputting and maintaining accurate information in our HRIS• Producing timely and meaningful HR reports• Supporting managers with low-level employee relations matters• Coordinating and arranging training across our services• Ensuring smooth, supportive, and employee-focused HR processes throughoutWhat We’re Looking For• Ideally CIPD Level 5 (or working toward it)• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy, fast-paced HR environment• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships• Solid understanding of HR processes and best practice• A proactive, organised, “hands-on” approach• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel to other sites is essential)What We Offer• A supportive, friendly, and values-driven working environment• Flexible working hours (30–37.5 per week)• Opportunities for professional development• The chance to make a real difference in a service that changes lives• A genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person
