Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support their legal team with day-to-day administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in legal support, with a clear pathway to progress into a Junior Legal Secretary position through structured training and mentorship.


Your new role

Administrative Support
1. Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
2. Manage iing and outgoing mail, emails, and calls
3. Maintain and update client files and case management systems
4. Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate travel arrangements
5. Assist with billing, invoicing, and expense tracking
Legal Support
6. File legal documents with courts and other relevant bodies
7. Conduct basic legal research andpile case summaries
8. Liaise with clients, courts, and external stakeholders professionally
Progression & Training
9. Participate in internal training sessions and shadow experienced legal secretaries
10. Learn legal terminology, document production standards, and case management procedures
11. Gradually take on moreplex tasks aligned with Junior Legal Secretary responsibilities


What you'll need to succeed

Essentials:
12. Strong organisational and time management skills
13. Excellent written and verbalmunication
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
15. High attention to detail and confidentiality
16. Willingness to learn and grow within a legal environment
Desirable:
17. Previous experience in an office or legal setting
18. Knowledge of legal terminology or procedures
19. Interest in pursuing a career as a Legal Secretary
