Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Stopping Site Manager to oversee passive fire protection works across a portfolio of live projects within the education and healthcare sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with strong fire stopping knowledge who enjoys running jobs properly, working closely with site teams, and delivering compliant, high-quality installations on complex projects.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of passive fire protection works on site, ensuring programmes, quality, and compliance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing fire stopping packages across live sites (student accommodation, universities, hospitals)
* Supervising site operatives and subcontractors
* Ensuring all works are delivered in line with FIRAS / manufacturer specifications
* Carrying out quality inspections and resolving site issues
* Coordinating with main contractors, project teams, and internal management
* Maintaining accurate site records, QA documentation, and progress reporting
* Promoting high standards of health & safety at all times
About You
* Proven experience as a Fire Stopping Site Manager / Supervisor
* Strong technical knowledge of passive fire protection systems
* Confident managing site teams and liaising with main contractors
* SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
* Comfortable working across multiple live environments
* Based outside the M25, ideally West or North-West of London
* Full UK driving licence
