We're looking for a HR Administrator (2nd Line) to join our HR Shared Services Team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden - hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 1-2 days per week.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired; just let us know when you speak to us.


What will you be responsible for?

As a HR Administrator (2nd Line), you'll work within the HR Shared Services Team, supporting colleagues by delivering accurate guidance and handling pay-related queries, as well as providing transactional support for a wide range of employee lifecycle changes.


Your day-to-day will include:

* Providing guidance to employees on Kier policies, HR, and pay-related queries.
* Processing a variety of HR and pay-related changes in our HR system, including family-friendly leave, redundancy leavers, secondments, sabbaticals, extensions to probation, and preparing relevant correspondence ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Monitoring, reviewing, and updating HR policies to ensure compliance with current legislation.
* Contributing to HR Shared Services projects and streamlining HR processes to promote continuous improvement.
* Supporting the calculation of exit costs for redundancy processes and settlement agreements.


What are we looking for?

This role is ideal if you:

* Have knowledge of Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE) legislation.
* Are a competent user of Excel.
* Possess attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
