Production Labourer – Multiple Needs
Location: Desford
Salary: Initially £39,268, rising to £41,099 after 3 months
Shifts: 4 on 4 off – days
Immediate Start
Key Responsibilities:
1. Complete start-of-shift safety checks and report any defects or issues to the Shift Manager.
2. Ability to carry out manual handling.
3. Repair of Kiln Cars
4. Occasionally operate and monitor various machines throughout the production process, ensuring correct and safe operation.
5. Quickly resolve stoppages or malfunctions, requesting assistance when necessary.
6. Wear required PPE at all times and ensure safety systems (including dust extraction) are functioning properly.
7. Complete and sign off operator quality checks accurately.
8. Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area; carry out housekeeping duties as needed.
9. Report any irregularities or health & safety concerns to the Shift Manager immediately.
10. Follow LOTOTO procedures and safe work practices when entering guarded areas.
11. Adhere to all risk assessments, SOPs.
12. Complete shift handovers effectively and follow all site traffic and pedestrian guidelines.
13. Uphold the site code of conduct and participate in training as required.
