Job Overview
Mount Charles Group is one of the largest privately owned soft facilities management, catering and ancillary service/product providers in Ireland. We are looking for a Catering Manager to join our team at Loughview Housing in Holywood. This role is part of a world-leading facilities management company that values customer service and continuous improvement.
Working Pattern
* 28 hours per week
* Week 1: 3 days 9am – 17:30
* Week 2: 4 days 9am – 17:30
* Every other weekend off

Responsibilities
* Ensure all food is prepared and cooked to an exceptional standard, ensuring all HACCP regulations are adhered to.
* Prepare and ready the service counter for service.
* Provide the highest level of customer service consistently to all users of the facility.
* Work as part of a team to deliver the service on time and to the highest possible standard.
* Complete any administration requested such as recording food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills and recording daily sales figures on the system.
* Complete bookwork procedures in line with company requirements, including the administration of purchasing, cash handling, banking and management of the weekly estimated trading account (ETA).
* Report defective equipment, utensils, work and floor surfaces to the relevant Head Office department.
* Ensure the opening and closing of all food outlets are carried out in accordance with Company procedures.

Basic statutory training for the role will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis. Proficient computer literacy is also required.
