Role?Casual (to cover staff absences and school holidays)
You'll be providing nutritious meals for school and youth groups visiting Plas Dol-y-Moch, in line with catering policies and food safety standards. This includes preparing, cooking, and serving food, as well as accommodating special dietary needs.
As a Casual Cook, you will:
1. Prepare and serve meals to a high standard
2. Receive, store, and handle food in line with Food Safety and COSHH regulations
3. Supervise kitchen staff and maintain hygiene, health, and safety procedures
4. Deliver meals tailored to children's dietary or medical requirements
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
We are looking for a flexible, motivated, and experienced Casual Cook to join our team at our Outdoor Education Centre. This role is vital in providing nutritious, tasty meals to students, staff, and visitors in a welcoming, high-energy environment.
