The Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations on high-profile fit out and refurbishment projects. This role would suit a hands‑on, organised, and safety‑focused professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can manage stakeholders with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce WHS policies
* Monitor progress, prepare site reports, and maintain project documentation
* Liaise closely with the Project Manager regarding scheduling, risks and design queries
* Ensure compliance with Tier 1 quality, safety, and environmental management systems
* Proactively resolve on-site issues and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within fit out and/or refurbishment projects (Tier 1 or Tier 2 experience preferred)
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and WHS regulations
* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight project timeframes
* Trade background or relevant construction qualifications highly regarded
