The successful candidate will have:
1. A degree or equivalent industrial expertise in physical sciences, engineering, or a related discipline.
2. A full, clean driving licence, enabling the post holder to legally drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle with manual transmission in the UK.
3. Experience of technical sales or industry engagement in the context of science and technology.
4. The ability to undertake day-to-day work and solve problems without close supervision, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly, orally and in writing, to a range of audiences.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
There is an expectation that the candidate will support securing sufficient funding from industrial sources to enable continuation of the role beyond the initial fixed term.
