Hours per Week 37.5 Work Pattern 8.00am – 4.30pm / 8.30am – 5.00pm (typical) Contract Permanent Hybrid Working Available after 2 months Redmayne Bentley are creating a new team in our Leeds Head Office to focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and we are looking for two Automation Developers to play an important role in establishing the benefits of this investment within the firm. You will be helping the team identify and document processes for automation, whilst working closely with other departments to understand their requirements and how they can utilise automation to create efficiencies and improved outcomes. The most common tasks you will be responsible for are: Designing, developing and testing robust automation solutions to streamline processes. Creating scripts, bots, or workflows using products to automate repetitive tasks. Collaborate with the Business Analyst to understand business processes that require automation and provide technical guidance on how they can be automated. Validating automation outcomes to ensure accuracy and reliability. Ensuring automation adheres to data protection and security standards. Researching new technologies, methodologies and development best practices to ensure that inhouse developed solutions are using the best technology possible. This role will suit someone who has a previous portfolio of successful automation solutions and a creative flair for finding ways to streamline and improve manual processes. This is not a client-facing role, your main communications will be with IT colleagues, third-party providers, and team members from across the firm. What we’re looking for Qualifications & Experience Essential Experience of using UiPath to automate business processes. Experience with workflow debugging, logging, and exception handling. Experience in translating business needs into technical specifications. Experience implementing both unattended and attended robot. Desirable Industrial certifications or charterships. Experience of using AI technologies in RPA processes. Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, PowerShell, Python). Experience of working in the financial services sector. Skills & Behaviours Essential Strong understanding of RPA design principles, reusability, and modular workflows. Familiarity with all aspects of the automation/software development lifecycle. A good communicator who is comfortable liaising with stakeholders. Self-sufficient and self-motivated, with a proactive attitude. Confident communicator, able to engage and influence colleagues at all levels. Organised, with strong attention to detail. Curious and creative with an analytical approach.
