We are offering a £250 signing bonus after a sucessful 6 months probationary period.
Specifics of the role:
· To prepare and cook food to high standards in a clean, tidy, safe and pleasant environment.
· To ensure responsibility for the effective daily management of the nursery kitchen alongside the Nursery/Deputy Manager and to abide by Company policies & procedures.
· To support the Nursery/Deputy Manager to ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed in line with Local Authority and Company procedures.
· Keep accurate records of deliveries and abiding to a weekly cleaning rota
· This role requires working in collaboration with others and taking responsibility for working in line with regulatory food safety requirements
Desirables (training can be obtained through the nursery)
· Food Hygiene and Safety Level 3
· Sound experience of meal preparation and cooking in an early years or care environment
· Sound experience of ordering & stock control
· Sound experience, knowledge and understanding of Environmental Health Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations, guidelines and record keeping.
· Knowledge and understanding of catering for variety of dietary needs and allergy children.
· High standards of personal hygiene, cleanliness and appearance.
· Solid organization and communication skills.

Pay: £13.20 per hour
