Factory Handyman - Building & Site Maintenance Monday to Friday Days (overtime available) £34,000 Our client, a well-established food manufacturing business, is currently looking to recruit a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative / Factory Handyman to join their engineering and site services team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with experience in building maintenance, site repairs, and general facilities upkeep within an industrial or manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the site, ensuring high standards are maintained across all internal and external areas. Key Responsibilities * Carry out general building maintenance and repair works across the site * Support ongoing GMP and site audit requirements * Complete painting, decorating, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical tasks * Undertake building repairs including roofing, concrete work, sealing, guttering, barriers, and yard maintenance * Maintain site services including drains and general external upkeep * Use hand and power tools safely and effectively * Work closely with the Engineering team, H&S Co-ordinator, Quality team, and contractors * Assist the engineering department with additional maintenance support when required * Complete maintenance reports and job logging accurately * Ensure Health & Safety procedures, COSHH regul...
