What you'll be doing
As a Site Manager you will have the following accountabilities:
Plan, manage and deliver site activities and to support Project team to deliver the construction works,
1. Safely and sustainably deliver the construction works to programme, cost and quality
2. Ensure the sufficiency of people & systems to deliver the construction activity
3. Support and develop an environment where the construction team can thrive and succeed
4. Ensure effective management of client and stakeholders
5. Review, monitor and improve construction performance
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
6. Extensive site management experience on OHL, Cabling or Substation projects of up to 400kV.
7. Knowledge of Project Management methodology
8. Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and Financial control
9. Excellent relationship management skills
10. Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems
11. Comfortable with ambiguity, able to tease out sensitive issues and lead cross functional teams towards solutions
12. Risk Assessment trained or equivalent
13. A qualification in IOSH, CDM or equivalent is desirable
14. City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent
