Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) Location: Perry Barr, Birmingham Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Role Overview Due to continued growth, Impacting Lives Limited, an established care provider with over 18 years’ experience, is recruiting an experienced Deputy HR Manager to support and strengthen its HR function across a growing group of companies. This is a hands-on HR management role within a multi-site care environment, suitable for an HR professional who is confident operating in a fast-paced, people-focused organisation while ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and best practice. Key Requirements The successful candidate will demonstrate: Minimum 2 years’ UK HR management experience Experience supporting or managing 80 employees CIPD Level 3 qualification (or higher) in HR / People Management Strong working knowledge of UK employment law Experience handling employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations Confidence working within a modern, technology-led business A people-focused, supportive, and practical management approach Experience supervising or supporting a small HR team Previous experience within the care sector or multi-site environment (desirable) Key Responsibilities (Not limited to) Work closely with Directors, Care Managers, and the HR Officer Support and manage HR operations for approximately 120 staff, with expected growth to 150 staff within 12 months Oversee and improve HR systems, processes, and compliance Manage recruitment and onboarding activity Ensure workforce training and regulatory requirements are met Advise management on HR policy, performance, and safeguarding matters Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances Analyse HR data to support operational and management decision-making Line-manage and support members of the HR team Based at Head Office in Perry Barr, with occasional travel to local sites for face-to-face meetings Benefits Competitive salary (£32,000 – £40,000 depending on experience) Supportive senior management team and company directors Structured induction and training during the first week Monthly supervisions Employee suggestion scheme Company pension scheme Free onsite parking Online payslips Birthday recognition About the Organisation Impacting Lives Limited provides supported living services that promote independence, wellbeing, and quality of life for adults with complex needs.
