Salary £55,000 - £60,000 + Living Away Expenses + Vehicle + 25 Days Holiday + Pension
Blaymires Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected building contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to lead Retail and Petroleum projects across the UK.
The company, established over 20 years ago, has built a strong reputation as a leader in the Electric Vehicle Charging, Petroleum, and Retail Construction sectors. Their clients include major blue-chip brands such as Asda, BP, McDonalds, Sainsburys, and Tesco, with project values ranging from £1M to £10M.
Responsibilities of the Site Manager
Manage the day-to-day running of construction sites to ensure timely project delivery.
Enforce health & safety standards across all site activities.
Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives to meet programme milestones.
Ensure all works are completed to high standards and within strict deadlines.
Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Travel and stay away from home as required by project location.
Requirements of the Site Manager
Proven experience managing Groundworks, Civil Engineering, or Retail construction projects.
Strong leadership, planning, and subcontractor coordination skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
Comfortable working on fast-paced, multi-site projects.
Qualifications of the Site Manager
CSCS card
SMSTS certificate
First Aid at Work
HNC or equivalent in Construction or Civil Engineering (preferred)
