Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook food, supervise the onsite catering team and ensure the delivery of the catering service in the absence of the Cook Manager.
* Be an integral part of residents\' home through daily interaction and support the social aspect of dining and nutritious meals for residents, including those with eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties.
* Use the detailed catering handover sheet to support person-centred care in collaboration with the onsite care team.
* Work with central teams on food safety, health and safety and food allergens; utilize menu cycles, nutritional information, IDDSI menus and promotional posters.
* Utilize the kitchen management system on the electronic tablet to access updates and keep paperwork to a minimum.
What we are looking for
You will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen with an organized approach and an understanding of the food industry, ideally with knowledge of textured modified diets (IDDSI) and working to a set budget.
A passion for delivering customer service is essential, with strong communication skills and an adaptable approach to work.
