A public sector organisation is recruiting for a Band 2 Donor Admin Assistant based in Belfast.
Your new role
As a Donor Administration Assistant, you will be part of the dedicated administration team responsible for managing donor information and supporting the wider operations that ensure a reliable supply of life-saving clinical resources.Working primarily from the organisation’s Belfast site, your duties will include:
1. Acting as the first point of contact for donors via telephone, email and in-clinic.
2. Creating, updating, and maintaining accurate electronic donor records.
3. Managing appointment bookings, sending reminders, and contacting donors to ensure donation sessions are fully scheduled.
4. Handling eligibility and general enquiries, offering excellent customer service at all times.
5. Reconciling donation documents and reporting discrepancies were required.
6. Coordinating with internal departments to resolve queries efficiently.
7. Supporting the selection andmunication process for donors attending donation sessions.
8. Assisting with the production of writtenmunications, updates to procedures, and testing new administrative processes.
9. Maintaining secure handling and storage of sensitive records in line with organisational policies.
10. Keeping up to date with all mandatory training andpliance requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
Essential Criteria:
11. At least 1 year of clerical/administration experience involving direct interaction with the public
or
2 years’ administrative experience if the qualification requirement below is not met.
12. 4 GCSEs at grades A–C, including English (or equivalent).
13. Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
14. Confident using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
15. Experience working with the public and providing a high standard of customer service.
16. Strong teamwork skills.
17. Good attendance record.
Desirable Criteria:
18. Applicants with relevant administrative or healthcare-based experience may have an advantage.
